B&O Play Beoplay E8

Sonically, the Beoplay E8 is capable of many sound signatures, but its baseline will please plenty of listeners. Functionally, the design fits securely and is easy to use. Generally speaking, this is a very good pair of earphones, but there is the issue of price to consider.

Powerful audio performance with deep bass and crisp highs; App features adjustable EQ; Very secure in-ear fit; Excellent mic clarity

Expensive; Transparency mode can be confusing before adjustments are made

B&O Play Beoplay E8 Review

The tiny E8 earbuds are comfortable and full of the quality one expects from B&O Play, but none of this comes cheaply.

Tiny; attractive design; Natural; balanced sound; High-quality build and materials; Transparency mode increases safety; Tight; comfortable fit

Expensive; Middling battery life

B&O PLAY Beoplay E8 True Wireless Bluetooth Earphones Review

Bang & Olufsen is one of the most iconic brands in audio. Based out of Denmark, they've been cranking out premium audio gear ever since the 20s. When they first went to market, B&O was known for producing equipment that had a better sound than anything else on the market.

Bang and Olufsen has finally entered the truly wireless earphone market. The technology for truly wireless earphones is still developing, and it's hard to find a pair that checks all the boxes for quality design and sound.

Good sound, poor connectivity

Earbud connectivity for left earbud is a challenge. Overall sound is very good and battery life a little less than expected.

Sound is great

Left earbud connectivity is challenging; drops frequently

B&O Beoplay E8

True wireless earbud-style headphones aren't exactly a new concept, but ever since the Apple AirPods were introduced, the category has exploded. Now there are countless alternatives available, each model prefaced with the words: ‘like AirPods, but…'.

Good sound; Lovely design and build; Good fit (if fiddly; Stable connection; Decent battery life

Buggy app (optional; Expensive

Great Sound

I thought I would have to buy the maker's wireless charger but it worked with my iPhones charger. Just a shame they only include 1 set of comfy ear buds.
