This is a great product, it looks and feels so premium.
I recently purchased a set of BeoPlay E8 truly witless in-ear earphones and can't be happier with them.
I had really high hopes for this product as my impression of the brand was that they produced premium products. Unfortunately, I was bitterly disappointed by the product. If I hold my phone in front of me then they work fine, but if I put my phone in my pocket then the sound becomes distorted and...
Let's get this out of the way: The B&O Beoplay E8 true wireless earphones cost $299. Being both a cheapskate and a music aficionado, I tried, hard , to convince myself that other less expensive true wireless headphones that I've tested sound just as good, or better, than the E8s do. But they don't.
Exceptional sound quality; especially for Bluetooth; Variable audio transparency settings; Easy to use sound profiles and the ability to create your own; Sleek; understated design; Small battery case that's easy to pocket; Solid build quality
Expensive; Design may not fit all ears; Controls occasionally unresponsive due to environmental conditions
My hope when I stuck the $300 Beoplay E8s into my ears for the first time was that they'd immediately stand out as the best truly wireless earbuds I'd ever tried. For that kind of money, and with B&O Play's strong reputation , why shouldn't they
Premium; unobtrusive design; Nice carrying case; Comply foam ear tips in the box; No audio delay when watching videos
Too many dropouts to justify high price; Annoying bug shifts music balance to left earbud; Case uses MicroUSB; Average battery life; Frustrating / annoying firmware update system
Believe it or not B&O(Bang & Olufsen) has been in the electronics game for close to a century and can be known for making some pretty high-end looking devices with quality in mind.
Bang & Olufsen's headphones tend to stand out from the crowd, and their new fully wireless mode, the Beoplay E8 , is no exception. The E8 is easily the best totally wire-free headphone I've used thus far, with comfortable earbuds that should fit regardless of your ear shape, good battery life of...
Connection keeps dropping and sound between left and right ear bud varies a lot and often hear crackling noises Go buy the new Apple ones or Sennheiser
So I have just returned my second pair, the first issue I had was that unless I returned the buds to the charging dock after use the left bud's battery would deplete, looks like the right master bud does not send a power down signal to the left bud, from what I now understand this is normal behavior...
Tiny wireless earphones are all the rage right now. Apple, Jabra, Sony, Jaybird, Bose, and now Bang & Olufsen have all joined the race to build miniature 'buds that sit in your ears without cables, and each one wants to be the pair in your pocket.
