Given this is my first go round with Audio-Technica I have to give the M50xBT headphones a nice thumbs up. I appreciated the sound profile these created and at times favored them over my Sony XM3s depending on the tracks. There isn't any noise cancelling but in this case it's not a deal breaker.
Awesome. Booming but not overpowering bass, crisp highs. The multiple cable types and lengths have proved helpful. Ear cushions are very comfortable.

Few pairs of headphones are quite as well respected and acclaimed as the iconic Audio Technica ATH-M50 and ATH-M50x. While originally positioned as studio monitors, these devices have become very popular even with regular consumers, thanks to their insightful sound and neutral sonic signature.
If you were a fan of the ATH-M50x headphones, you'll likely like the ATH-M50xBT as well seeing as they're basically the same headphones. They have better Bluetooth codec support than most, a great battery life, and are still durable and portable. While they're not cheap, they're still a great value.
