Vinyl is the music medium that refuses to lie down and die. Cassettes, eight-tracks, even CDs come and go, but records continue to cling to their niche and even grow in popularity. This is partly a hipster-ish fashion thing, plus both the records and their paraphernalia are attractive.

Great if it works
She it is working it is a great turntable form the price. However, had it for less than a year and the stylus skates across the record and skips despite setting the tracking force and anti skate exactly as directions describe. A quick Google search shows that this is a common issue.

Not A Universal Headstock
The quality and craftsmanship of the headstock is excellent. The 1/2 inch stylus cartridge fits well. Regrettably, the headstock is not universal and specifically not compatible with the Thorens TD160 Turntable.

Audio Technica ATLP120USB Direct Drive Professional USB Turntable - Black
I'm not sure what to say about this one. Depends on what you're using it for. If you're DJing (especially scratching) you'll dump at least another 80 - $100 into this if you're a beginner/intermediate. If you're a pro, you already know you'll need more.

Bad Audio Cable
Bought this...but unfortunately i have to return it for a full credit. There are a few things wrong with this unit. One being that the left audio/speaker cable does not work. Overall the unit looks nice and simple.

"Great turntable, with a few quarks"
I first ordered an entry level turntable and was just getting too much noise back through it (from my speakers). This turntable does a much better job and I have no complaints about the sound at all. Vinyl can sound much better than digital.

Good Turntable
Good Direct Drive turnaable. Comes with Audio Technica cartridge. Built in phono section and USB, it connects to anything. Have not yet compared it to the phono inputs on my Denon receiver yet to A/B the built in analog section.<br />Cartridge seems to track best at 2g.
Pros:
- Easy To Use
- Professional Features
- Versatile
Cons:
- Totally Manual
