you need patience for this game

im a huge fan of any game that takes many hours to master so i jumped at the chance to buy this one. gorgeous graphics and not too many long conversations make gameplay fairly fast and enjoyable. as the story runs on a time system you will find ach chapter can take many hours to master.

Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland

Rorolina Frixell, called Rorona for short, is essentially an indentured servant of Astrid, the town's alchemist. Astrid doesn't seem to do anything to justify her shop's existence, refusing to do any work and often taking long naps or leaving the workshop for no reason.

I'm going to sound like an ass saying this but I think it's safe to say that the NIS efforts for the PS3 have been a little bit, underwhelming. was a slight improvement, and I don't even want to talk about .

JRPG of the year

Atelier Rorona is by no means a perfect experience, but it's pretty darn close. The game continues the addictive alchemy-focused gameplay of Annie, while the charm and atmosphere really make the game come alive.

At the start of the story you learn about how the alchemist shop came to be in the town of Arland and that it is now in trouble of being shut down in the name of development,...

Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland

As a long-time veteran of the series, I had a good idea of what I was getting into when I started Atelier Rorona: Alchemist of Arland . True to the series' roots, Atelier Rorona places a heavy emphasis on item crafting. If you use it, there's a good chance you'll have to make it.

Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland PS3 Review

Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland might very well see a world under threat, which is hardly a unique premise for an RPG in itself, but hold your horses, it's not the world at large this time that is facing destruction, but rather heroine Rorolina Frixell's (commonly known as Rorona) personal...
