Great hardware matched with awful software

Setup was incredibly easy. I simply put the drives in, and it was away and setting up the RAID in moments. It took about a day for the RAID 5 to be ready, and then I thought I was good to go. Sadly, that is the ONLY aspect of this NAS that has worked well. Connection speeds to all my computers are pitifully slow. Even on a 1megabit connection (which I know isn't fast), the speed varies between 4 and 40 megabytes a second, most of the time averaging around 20. Asustor AS6604T NAS

Great data storage unit. 4 bays loaded with 4TB disk, ability to run each pair as its own Raid 1 mirror. Great syncing ability and easy to configure. Also, great service from the Team at PB Tech in Wellington. Couldn't be happier.
