Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe Review
The Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe is big, good-looking unlocked Android phone with powerful hardware that's held back by a disappointing camera and an overwhelming software layer. With the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in the midst of a fiery recall, the market is down a supersized unlocked phone. The $499.99 Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe shows up at a perfect time to take advantage of Samsung's misfortunes. It's a massive 5.7-inch Android phone with a sleek metal build, a high-end processor, and tons of RAM. Unfortunately, it's also riddled with bloatware and has one of the heaviest UI layers we've seen. You're better off with our Editors' Choice, the ZTE Axon 7 ( at Amazon) , which offers similarly powerful hardware, a sharper display, and less fussy software at a lower price. Design, Features, and DisplayThe ZenFone 3 Deluxe ( at Amazon) lives up to its classy sounding moniker. Its has a sleek metal unibody design with no visible antenna lines, giving it a smart seamless look, similar to the Apple iPhone 7 Plus ($769.99 at Verizon) . In terms of size, the Deluxe is very much designed for people who want a big phone. It measures 6.2 by 3.1 by 0.3 inches (HWD) and weighs ...
Pros:
- Sleek design
- Fast performance
- Good network connectivity
- Solid battery life
Cons:
- Overwhelming UI layer and bloatware
- Lackluster camera
- Mediocre call quality

Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe Is Great Except for One Flaw
The ZenFone 3 Deluxe is a gorgeous phone with an eye-poppingly vibrant display and a UI to match. It's $500 price seems like a bargain when you compare this phone to similarly sized flagships that go for hundreds more, but budget-conscious users may prefer the $399 OnePlus 3 , which has nearly...
Pros:
- Attractive Design
- Gorgeous screen
- Great value
- Helpful built-in software
Cons:
- Camera is sluggish and images look dim

Half way!
Overall good phone, but - too long announcement to market #6months in some countries, with unbalanced countries coverage - still no bootloader unlock by now: still hoping to get it soon to unlock full hardware potential with Lineage custom rom.
Pros:
- Build quality
- RAM quantity
Cons:
- Asus stock Rom
- Battery / autonomy
- would have prefer 6inches screen

- Has a whopping 6GB of RAM
- Battery life is fantastic
Cons:
- Rear camera can be sluggish in low light

- The cluttered user interface and bloatware make it a pain to use

Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe review: Not 'deluxe' enough
The Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe has a luxurious build that's overshadowed by bloatware and poor performance -- you're better off with the OnePlus 3T or a cheaper ZenFone 3. For the price, you'd be better off with the cheaper ZenFone 3 ($171 at Walmart), or even the OnePlus 3T ($446 at Amazon), with its cheaper price and similar specs.

- Has a whopping 6GB of RAM

Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe review: Good but just not good enough
Asus seemed to have turned a new leaf when the company showcased a barrage of new smartphones, at Computex 2016 in Taiwan back in June. Since then we have seen more premium looking devices come from Asus featuring metal construction (instead of plastic bits) and Qualcomm chipsets (from Intel chips).

So there you have it for this in-depth look at the ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe! The device is priced at $499.99 which isn't a bad price tag, but there are several other smartphones out there like the Axon 7 and the new OnePlus 3T that undercut this price, while offering very similar experiences.
Pros:
- Seamless metal build with no antenna lines Vibrant 1080p display Dual-SIM microSD slot Smooth performance Lots of software features
Cons:
- Weak battery life Zen UI can feel overwhelming and bloated Camera images lack detail/slow in low light
