Half way!

Overall good phone, but - too long announcement to market #6months in some countries, with unbalanced countries coverage - still no bootloader unlock by now: still hoping to get it soon to unlock full hardware potential with Lineage custom rom.
Pros:
  • Build quality
  • RAM quantity
Cons:
  • Asus stock Rom
  • Battery / autonomy
  • would have prefer 6inches screen

Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe Review

The Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe is big, good-looking unlocked Android phone with powerful hardware that's held back by a disappointing camera and an overwhelming software layer. With the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in the midst of a fiery recall, the market is down a supersized unlocked phone. The $499.99 Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe shows up at a perfect time to take advantage of Samsung's misfortunes. It's a massive 5.7-inch Android phone with a sleek metal build, a high-end processor, and tons of RAM. Unfortunately, it's also riddled with bloatware and has one of the heaviest UI layers we've seen. You're better off with our Editors' Choice, the ZTE Axon 7 ( at Amazon) , which offers similarly powerful hardware, a sharper display, and less fussy software at a lower price. Design, Features, and DisplayThe ZenFone 3 Deluxe ( at Amazon) lives up to its classy sounding moniker. Its has a sleek metal unibody design with no visible antenna lines, giving it a smart seamless look, similar to the Apple iPhone 7 Plus ($769.99 at Verizon) . In terms of size, the Deluxe is very much designed for people who want a big phone. It measures 6.2 by 3.1 by 0.3 inches (HWD) and weighs ...
Pros:
  • Sleek design
  • Fast performance
  • Good network connectivity
  • Solid battery life
Cons:
  • Overwhelming UI layer and bloatware
  • Lackluster camera
  • Mediocre call quality

Excellent flagship!

I've used ASUS products for decades now. They used to be one of the only good companies for computer components, and have now come all the way up to making all kinds of great devices. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe is no exception to that.

fragile

I'm very frustrated by the fragility of the phone. I've had it for less than a month. I'm 5ft tall and the phone fell from my pocket on a wooden floor. LCD screen is destroyed, and the phone hasnt even scratched. It had a protective cover and all.

The ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL) breaks new ground for ASUS as the first ZenFone to actually have tech specs, features and looks that equal a current flagship smartphone. This includes a slim metal frame with curved back that looks stunning with no visible antenna bands.

Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe Review

The Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe is a solid smartphone with a svelte design that manages to pack in a large display without feeling clunky. It's also got lots of pep and performance underneath. However, if photography is important to you, its camera isn't going to satisfy.
Pros:
  • Great performance
  • sleek lightweight design with a large display
  • great build quality
  • dual SIM
  • comfortable to hold despite its large size
  • good selfie camera
Cons:
  • Poor camera performance for its price
  • fingerprint reader could not read one of my fingers for some reason
  • 1080p not ideal on such a large display
  • Zen UI needs refinements
