Asus ZenFone 2 (Unlocked)

I can't believe the Asus ZenFone 2 costs $299. In terms of sheer power per dollar, it's unmatched. The ZenFone 2 has everything and the kitchen sink: 64GB of storage plus a memory card slot, two SIM slots, enough RAM to flip between several large games at once, and a surprisingly good camera.
Pros:
  • Amazingly fast and powerful for the price
  • Good camera
  • Dual SIMs
  • Lots of memory
Cons:
  • Big and heavy
  • Dim screen
  • Heavy Android skin
  • Too much bloatware

Asus Zenfone 2 review with video: Top quality specs at mid-range?price

This is one of the best phones in the mid-range at the moment especially since it offers top of the line storage and memory options.
Pros:
  • The overall performance of the phone is very good
  • I did not feel any lag and multi-tasking was effortless
  • Yes, the phone does heat up at times, especially when it is doing something online
  • But that does not affect performance at any point.

Asus ZenFone 2 Review

Most people recognize Asus from its laptops and a smattering of Android tablets, but outside the United States, it also sells a lot of phones – 10 million to date, in fact. The ZenFone 2 is equipped with a 13MP PixelMaster 2.0 rear camera and a 5MP front camera. These numbers are pretty average, but such numbers do not really do it justice. In use, the auto-focusing of the rear camera is faster than most; up to half the time it takes for most other phone cameras...
Pros:
  • Great value for good performance
  • Decent camera
  • Quick Charging
Cons:
  • Average battery life
  • Non-removable battery
  • Power button is awkwardly positioned

The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser is a very good option with a price tag of ?9,999. The handset is powerful, can shoot really good images and battery backup is also pretty impressive. On the negative side the handset is heavy / bulky and media sound is low.

Asus' latest assault on the Android phone comes via the ZenFone 2, the successor to the ZenFone 4, 5 and 6. The previous generation devices had 4-, 5- and 6-inch screens, hence the names. The ZenFone 2 has two different screen sizes, with 5-inch and 5.5-inch variants available.

Asus Zenfone 2 review: RAMbunctious

Initially presented at CES 2015 , the Asus Zenfone 2 – the world's first smartphone to ship with a 64-bit processor and 4 GB of RAM, was a bit of a showstopper. But perhaps the most spectacular part of the Zenfone 2 isn't its specs sheet, but its price: the ''lighter'' version of the Zenfone 2, with...
Pros:
  • Incredibly low price
  • 4 GB of RAM
  • 64-bit CPU
  • Customizable ZenUI
  • Pixel Master low-light technology
  • Premium looks and build quality
  • Dual-SIM and microSD card slots
  • Fast charging battery: 60% in 40 mins

Asus ZenFone 2 Smartphone Review

For a $200 to $300 smartphone, the ZenFone 2 makes a strong case against more expensive 5.5-inch devices, especially from a design and performance standpoint. The device itself is physically quite large, though no less difficult to grip and use.
Pros:
  • Attractive design
  • Massive 4 GB of RAM
  • Fast system performance
  • 1080p IPS display with high contrast
  • Dual-SIM support
  • Rigid chassis
  • Clear speaker and reception
Cons:
  • Faux brushed metal
  • Plastic and polycarbonate materials, Thicker than competing 5.5-inch models, Below average battery life, Average display brightness, No CDMA version, Soft pictures from camera, No USB 3.0 or MHL, Non-removable battery
