The portability and usefulness of having a battery to self-power the monitor are its best features. However, I wish it were brighter in daylight. The on screen controls allow the monitor to use only the battery and I am not seeing any drain from either my Macbook Pro or Windows laptop.

The Asus portable monitor works just as described it is a high quality product that has made my work station totally portable and very functional, very happy with the purchase.
The idea of portable displays is relatively new and it is because of the rise of USB Type-C, which allows power and data to flow through a single cable. Looking on Amazon, you can find almost a dozen such devices, including ones from HP, which we recently reviewed , AOC and ASUS.
