The combination of 3D Lightboost technology and the new 3D Vision 2 glasses allowed me to have some of the most incredible 3D experiences of my life. If you think that 3D is only as good as what you see in the movie theatres, then you are mistaken.

2D image quality Marketed as a 3D monitor first and foremost, most folk will still spend the majority of time looking at it in regular 2D. After toggling a few settings - 90 brightness, 62 contrast - the 2D image is sharp and clear.

With regards to the new and improved 3D Vision 2 glasses, whilst they are larger than the previous model, they are just as if not a little more comfortable and to me feel a little lighter whilst wearing them.

I bought this monitor as an upgrade to my old 24" ASUS that has done well for that last 5 years. It's bright, colors are vibrant for 1080p, refresh rate works up to 144hz, the stand is amazing, comes with all necessary cables, power cable it long (good thing), and I love the 27" size.

3D just got a lot easier on the eye - but the compromises 3D panels make remain an issue.
