ASUS ROG STRIX H370-F Gaming review

Well, if this is what the new mainstream/ budget/value motherboards will look like, bring them on. Intel has waited a long time before releasing a more affordable chipset for the 8th generation (Coffee Lake) processors.

Very Nice

I just did a refresh of my 2014 gaming pc. I added this motherboard along with an I5-8600 and some 2666 ram. The computer is purring like it hasn't in years now. I'm very happy with the motherboard. So far everything has been easy. The board looks great in my case.

ASUS ROG STRIX H370-F GAMING ATX Form, For Intel 8th/9th Gen CPU, LGA115,H370,4X DDR4 DIMM, 2x M.2, 2XPCIE X16, 4XPCIE X1, 6XUSB , 1XType C, HDMI/DVI/VGA, LAN, Internal I/O: 2XUSB3.1, 2XUSB2.0, 1X 12V RGB Header,

While I initially had a hard time booting up ( I didn't realize I needed to disable secure boot and UEFI OS) Everything works and looks beautiful! It even goes along with the CoolerMaster Masfan Pro RGB 3 in 1 which I also purchased at PBtech!

ASUS ROG Strix H370-F Gaming Motherboard Review

Intel released its new H370 chipset, along with H310 and B360, in early April 2018. H370 logically replaces H270 and comes with a respectable standard specification to target mid-range desktop users.

RGB Lighting and Optional Header; Capable CPU power delivery system; Ample USB 3.1 connectivity; Dual M.2 slots; Diagnostic LEDs; High quality audio solution with operational amplifiers; Integrated I/O shield

Cooled M.2 slot is only PCIe X2; Only one onboard LED lighting zone; Priced higher than many Z370 motherboards
