This product I could not use with my Macbook. Downloaded the software and tried to play movies and it was skipping and freezing the entire time. But my primary use was for burning CDs of pictures to give to clients and it was a fail. Ended up going with the Mac version! So much simplier and smooth.

Bought this 3 years ago, still works like a champ. I recently had to re-rip a bunch of DVDs (lost a drive on my media server), and this did the job well. It's a little noisy, but not too bad.

I would recommend this ASUS to my friends.

Great disc drive and really fast, be aware though it has 2 USB connectors on the lead and both have to be plugged in to get maximum performance out of the drive

would be 5 stars if the usb lead would have been longer other than that the product is great.
