The one I got wouldn't go above 60hz, tried on two different systems with two different GTX1080's; If you select any other frequency like 144hz, 165hz it will switch then just blink off then on; If you set the monitor as you default and reboot it'll never turn on.

For the money I paid, I expected a lot more

The Asus PG27UQ surely has to be one of the most anticipated gaming products in recent history. First unveiled a year and a half ago, this is the first monitor to offer not just a 4K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, but true HDR with a full array local dimming backlight as well.
