Bought this laptop 1 month ago so far so good. Running games high fps. Mainly play fortnite on it so far so good.

Was waiting to see if any $ were going to come off it for the black friday sales and sure enough there was a wee discount to be had so I got it sight unseen. Have to say the build quality is really nice considering it is a plastic frame with a metal lid, it feels sturdy and it seems the designers put a bit of extra love into the details with this one. This unit comes with the faster 1RX8 Ram which is a nice bonus compared to the earlier units that shipped with 1RX16 my S/N starting with M7. What can I say... I was hesitant at what the overall size would be given the specs, but this laptop could be used as a business notebook with no issue whatsoever. The benchmarks using the new Windows 11 are amazing, putting this on par with the RTX3070/3080 and for thousands less. There are a couple of downsides that can be sorted pretty quickly and cheaply... the memory the laptop comes with is rx16 ddr4 and swapping it out to rx8 ddr4 gave an astonishing 20% increase in benchmarks (well worth the extra small fee). This thing is amazing. I've had it for about 2 months now. So many people were telling me to forget laptops and get a desktop, but I move around the place a lot. I'm definitely getting the FPS I expected and am able to place some of the beefier games without raytracing. Beautiful screen too. Hated the appearance, but swapped out the red strip and actually grew to like it. Gets pretty warm on the keyboard, but no more than you'd expect for a gaming laptop.
