I purchased this board simply because it is the only one, currently, in the Asus X570 line that doesn't have a fan. Instead it has perfectly functional heat sinks which work well and, unlike an onboard fan, hopefully won't cause potential problems as the board ages. Overall. I think it is a very good motherboard. Been using this board for almost a month. Detected and worked out of the box with the Ryzen 5900x. Love the fact there is no fan on the board. Just make sure you have active air flow over the board of you will experience slow downs. Got more performance and stability after updating the bios. I generally stay away from beta versions for and wait for stable versions. Just remember to set the Extreme Tweaker -> Ai Overcloacker Tuner -> D.O.C.P. Mine arrived with a bent Start button and RGB header, the box was not damaged in anyway so it is most likely damage that occurred during the factory packaging stage. Did not feel like waiting for an RMA or perhaps a replacement as this came from the North Island. Took a chance built up the PC and it runs just fine, phew!. So a heads up if you are ordering this, just make sure PBTECH can inspect your board before it gets shipped as this is a common problem judging by the forums out there. It is not a PBTECH problem rather a manufacturers packing issue. Apart from that I highly recommend this board, just waiting for my 5950x!.

This board is so overwhelmed by heat it’s pointless and even look at amd ctr this board is underachieving compared to the rog formula it’s a gimic
