Excellent Monitor

The color fidelity on this monitor is excellent. I do a lot of CAD drafting (mostly in Vectorworks) and this monitor displays everything very well. there is no stepping or blurring of diagonal lines.

almost 10-bit, but not quite

I got this monitor originally to upgrade to 4k, AND 10-bit color, but what I found out after research is that unfortunately this monitor doesn't quite measure up. HDMI2 can only provide 10-bit color at 4:2:0 chroma subsampling, which kind of defeats the point alltogether for moving to 10-bit.

The monitor is large; and has a beautiful screen

I had to order a replacement as the back-lighting on half the screen died within 2hrs of use; The second screen had a odd flickering issue on HDMI2 as well (dp 1.2 was fine)

Asus ProArt PA329Q 32 inch Colour Accurate 4K IPS Display Review

Kitguru Says: Asus is clearly relentless in its mission to capture the high-end display market, and the ProArt PA329Q is another excellent achievement. While it has some very strong competition from other manufacturers, and it's not our first choice for gaming on, this display will work...

Mind blowing picture quality; with vivid colours that leap off the screen; High brightness and contrast; Good brightness uniformity (once dedicated IC is engaged via a setting)

Colour-accurate displays command a seriously high premium; Not the best screen for gaming on

Review: Asus' PA329Q is aimed at artists and professionals

Along with the Asus PG348Q gaming screen that Bennett has reviewed, above, we've been running the latest professional-series monitor in Asus' range, the ProArt PA329Q. It's the flagship monitor in Asus' line-up, and is pitched more at professional users thanks largely to its 100% RGB coverage.

Wow. Stunning.

I bought the monitor just for gaming on my Xbox one S. Let me tell you I've gone through 4 different monitors 3 were 4K and one was the Acer Predator x34 ( which was amazing on PC but console.. no.) I hooked this thing all up and booted up I couldn't believe my eyes. Crystal clear and the colors....

Yesterday I returned the BenQ PD3200U because the screen looks yellowish and hope this could do a better job. However, this absolutely disappointed me more than BenQ. I am using Mac Pro trashcan with DP input. So I believe there should of no doubts for the quality of the input source. 1.

ASUS PA329Q 4K 10-Bit 99.5 Adobe RGB ProArt 32.0″ Screen LCD Monitor Review

The ASUS PA329Q is a 4K monitor which straddles the border between being a superb sort of professional wide color gamut visual design model of a monitor with genuinely high-caliber pro specs and a sort of rugged, regular-use work monitor with the specs necessary for great handling of a wide variety...

Superb color performance and accuracy; Great peak brightness; Stunning range of connectivity ports; HDMI 2.0; Stylish design; Great display quality

Weak contrast ratio; Poor screen uniformity in default mode; Uniformity management tool decreases brightness; pricey

Asus ProArt PA329Q 32-inch UHD Pro Monitor

After reviewing many professional displays here at Tom's Hardware, we have yet to find a product that doesn't perform well. The differences between these screens is extremely small and buyers are likely to be satisfied with any one of the dozens of choices in today's market.

Ultra HD; Bright IPS panel; Image clarity; Accurate gamut and gamma; Includes calibration software; Build quality; Styling; Value

Out-of-box grayscale accuracy; Inflexible OSD calibration; Software doesn't support high-end instruments

The Asus PA329Q offers a 4K monitor that fits somewhere between being a superb professional visual design model and a regular work monitor. The monitor offers specs that are good for handling a number of digital work tasks and comes at a price that is not outrageous.
