I install these in the slimline computers to allow for dual video or as a basic graphics card replacement/upgrade. Love the fact that there is no little fan to stop spinning and burn out the chipset.

This is the third graphics card for my computer. My first two cards both died from cooling fan failures. Since this card has no fan I'm hoping it will last longer. So far it's working great with performance as good or better than my previous cards.

Just sent this back to Dabs (who have a fantastically clear and legal returns policy by the way) as it would fit in the mother board without taking out 2 SATA sockets and over-shadowing a PCIe slot. Loved the idea but will go for a traditional one with a slimmer fan

Moving from integrated to this card slowed down my video processing. Just terrible.

Worth noting that altho this is a "low profile" card, the low profile back plate is not included. I had access to one so i am OK, but just be aware.

Swapped it in on an older machine and it works perfectly. Very happy.

I have noticed that keeping the case out in an open, well air-conditioned room helps tremendously and reduces the temps above by as much as 10 degrees. If you're like me and building an HTPC, you plan to put the case in a media cabinet and only so much airflow will reach it and the temps I stated...

Without fans, the card is obviously silent - which is ideal for an HTPC build; Expect smooth 1080p resolution, 5.1 audio, and light graphics out of this; It isn't going to run any of the latest titles at max settings, but streaming from another computer on the network through Steam easily steps...

The tradeoff for sacrificing fans is that this card will idle warm (~50 - 55 C) and run hot under any load (~ 60 - 74 C)

If you are looking at this card and it's 2g version, get this one since the processing power of this low mid range card will not be able to use the 2g ram to full usage. Bought this to run movies, and gaming old games like Dota. With 4gb ddr2 ram. It will work at low setting.
