Good for Silence, but Runs Hot
I have noticed that keeping the case out in an open, well air-conditioned room helps tremendously and reduces the temps above by as much as 10 degrees. If you're like me and building an HTPC, you plan to put the case in a media cabinet and only so much airflow will reach it and the temps I stated...
Without fans, the card is obviously silent - which is ideal for an HTPC build; Expect smooth 1080p resolution, 5.1 audio, and light graphics out of this; It isn't going to run any of the latest titles at max settings, but streaming from another computer on the network through Steam easily steps...
The tradeoff for sacrificing fans is that this card will idle warm (~50 - 55 C) and run hot under any load (~ 60 - 74 C)
