Great game

Definitely top two for Assassin's Creed games in the franchise. For the price on here and the hours of playing time, can't beat it. If you enjoyed any of the series before you will love this one.

Fun game but graphics are the same

The overall game is as good as the rest of the Assassin's Creed series, but does little to improve itself over the previous editions. The game does a good job at balancing between the number of sneaking land missions and the aggressive sea missions.

A Swashbuckling Assassin's Adventure

Assassin's Creed has come a long way since it's first faltering steps with Altair. Despite the original game's flawed gameplay, it was easy to see the potential of parkour and sneaking over the rooftops of ancient Jerusalem and Damascus.

Plenty of advanture.

This game has kept me entertained for many hours. The game has many activities and I am still exploring and will give me many more hours of enjoyment. I highly recommend this game.

"A great game that could use a better hero"

Assassins creed 4 is a great continuation of the series. Although I couldn't help but feel that Ubisoft need to mix it up a little more because it is almost exactly the same combat and upgrade systems as the previous installment.

Story; side quests; longevity

Main character; repetitive

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (Xbox One)

The year is 1715, and lawless pirates dominate the Caribbean Sea. Neither land nor sea is safe from these rapscallions, and the biggest hellraiser of them all is a young captain named Edward Kenway, who explores the waters during piracy's golden age.

Exciting stealth-based action; Beautiful next-gen graphics; An expansive open world; Dozens of hours of gameplay on land and at sea

Difficult to control player character at times; Unrealistic NPC movements and interactions

Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag: Freedom Cry Add-On Review (Xbox 360 / One, PlayStation 3 / 4)

A solidly executed addition to your adventure, worth returning to the game for.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Freedom Cry

Important characters and eras are problematically mired in the need to have an historian's knowledge to appreciate the deep-rooted issues to which each game's multi-year stories only offer a snapshot of.

Best AC So Far

Wasn't a huge fan of the AC games because I felt like they were always too repetitive. This one offers so many side missions that I don't find myself getting bored. Good game if you're looking for an adventure game that requires lots of stealth or not lol.
