Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD Review

Set in New Orleans towards the end of the French and Indian War (1765 and 1777). You play the role of Aveline de Grandpré, an African-French Assassin and the first female protagonist for the Assassins Creed series.

Non-sexualised Female; Inventive Character Outfit Scheme

Area Interaction Is Unreliable; Not Sure It Was Worth Porting; Measly Voice Acting

Assassins Creed

At first, this game seemed awesome, hopping around rooftops and climbing up huge buildings is always good fun but for me, this was the only good part of the game. Over time it became very repetetive and not very exciting, the lack of varied 'side missions' didnt help.

Assassin's Creed

A highly hyped game often involves a risk: to succeed or to fail miserably. If the industry simplified a great number of known franchises to please the casual gamer, the number of games developed for a public thirsty for more complex stories still strong.

Be the Assassin

Assassin's Creed is one of the best games of the fall, great graphics, wonderful interactive enviroment, and enchanting game play. You play as an assassin during the Holy Crusades and are issued commands to kill the key rulers that draw out the war for their own profit.

Assassin's Creed - Xbox 360

Instead, it's simply a great looking example of what can be achieved visually, while lacking the kind of enjoyment we'd all hoped for

Incredible visuals; AI reacts perfectly to your character

Convoluted story; Not enough freedom; Rubbish ending

Disappointing!

Ubisoft have worked hard on this game, not just in developing it but also marketing it. When we saw the first videos of Assassin's Creed the reception was very positive. A huge, sprawling city set in the swords and sandals world of the twelfth century Middle East replete with cinematic, acrobatic...

Assassin's Creed Review

Few games generate the amount of hype that Assassin's Creed has done. Its shiny next-gen graphics, mouth-watering parkour system and intriguing storyline have made it one of the most anticipated games of all time.

Review: Assassin's Creed (XBOX 360)

When kidnapped by an unknown assailant and forced into a machine with the purpose of retracing the genetical memories of your assassin ancestor to learn the location of an unknown item from the year 1191, it's hard to say no.

* Unique and interesting storyline; * Immersive and convincing through amazing graphics; sound and presentation; * Sword fights and assassinations are a lot of fun

* 1-2 hours in and you know what you'll be doing for the rest; * Questionable control over Altaïr's mobility; * Transportation can be a bit lengthy and over-used
