Assassin's Creed

You'll be aching to uncover the plot in no time with this game. The cities are huge and have poor and rich areas to them making you want to explore every inch of them. Overall this game is absolutely fantastic and a Must Have for every single gamer out there.

Assassin's Creed

The sandbox approach in Assassin's Creed provides decent entertainment. The only question is: for how long That would depend on your preferences, really. If the recurring mission structure doesn't bother you, this could prove to be a fun ride all the way.

Looks and sounds awesome; new missions add a much needed variety to the gameplay; decent controls

Hardware requirements exceed those of Crysis; certainly not entertaining enough if you've already played the 360 and PS3 editions; AI quirks; recurring mission structure

Assassin's Creed

There are times when Assassin's Creed feels like the future of videogames. It plays with heavy ideas and spectacular technology. It fli...

High-concept idea; Exhilarating rooftop running; Freedom to choose

Sci-fi allows lazy design; Repetitive missions; Terrible final 2 hours

This game is very fun to play but it becomes very repetitive after the 4th assassination. Its just go to the town clime a tower find some people learn about the bad guy and them kill him, in return you will get new abilities.

stunning visuals; great climbing abilities

gets a bit repetitive

Pilgrim in the not-so-holy lands. In Assassin's Creed, the player takes control of Altair, a member of the Assasiun faction in the Middle East. Well, not exactly. Through a prototype apparatus, the human kind has gained access to genetic memory stored in each person's DNA through which a modern day...

COmpelling plot; great graphics and sound; immersive; great gameplay

Could have increased replayability; combat sound and special effects could have been more polished; cliffhanger finale

Action/Adventure/Third Person Ubisoft's medieval sleath-'em-up fails to stand out from the crowd. When Assassin's Creed switched from being a PS3 exclusive title to a multi-format one, 360 owners were understandably smug about their choice of console.

Assassin's Creed

There is something in this game for everyone but the highly detailed open world comes at a cost. The missions can get repetative very quickly for some but luckily you are not forced to do every single small side mission to complete your main objectives.

Graphics and animation; Open world gameplay

Repetive missions

Assassin's Creed

Assassin's Creed would be worth owning if it didn't cost $60 at the time of this writing. Maybe if it drops in price to $20-30 at some point, but until then, I recommend either holding off or just renting the game. Everything can be finished in a single rental.

-Amazing graphics; -Somewhat unique setting; -Weird; but fresh twists; -Cool story; -Decent length; -Huge and immersive landscapes

-Extremely repetitious; -Combat is boring and has no real variation; -Price tag of this writing is too high; -One of the most over hyped titles ever; -Can get a bit mind numbing if played too much

Assassins Creed

Assassins Creed is best approached with no preconceptions whatsoever. If you play it with an expectation of greatness, then an unfair emphasis will be placed on the in game issues and that does not do the game justice.

Review: Assassin's Creed (XBOX 360)

When kidnapped by an unknown assailant and forced into a machine with the purpose of retracing the genetical memories of your assassin ancestor to learn the location of an unknown item from the year 1191, it's hard to say no.

* Unique and interesting storyline; * Immersive and convincing through amazing graphics; sound and presentation; * Sword fights and assassinations are a lot of fun

* 1-2 hours in and you know what you'll be doing for the rest; * Questionable control over Altaïr's mobility; * Transportation can be a bit lengthy and over-used
