Army of TWO The Devil's Cartel Review

Army of Two is one of those surprising franchises that somehow manages to produce sequels despite not seeming particularly sequel-worthy. The first game was not that much fun, but the sequel was better. Army of TWO The Devil's Cartel is not particularly good, but nor is it particularly bad.

● Decent third-person shooter ● Overkill is a lot of fun

● Weak story ● Salem and Rios are in the backseat ● Unskippable cutscenes; really

Army of Two

Is there any nobler tradition than the buddy action flick? Pair up a couple of wisecracking tough guys, borrow some half-baked plot points from old episodes of The A-Team, rent a horde of bullet-catching extras from Goons-R-Us, and season to taste.

I bought in to the "dude-bro" hype. I was an avid fan of both Army of Two and Army of Two: The 40th Day. I fell in love with the buddy system and found that it captured something no other game had, with its co-op interaction and camaraderie.

Army of Two

It's safe to say there's but a handful of decent single-player titles out there. More and more development studios focus on multiplayer-oriented gameplay and with Microsoft's Xbox LIVE and Sony's PSN now in full swing, features like co-op and online play are usually considered a must for a majority...

Looks nice; sounds nice; fun co-op; excellent multiplayer; gives you a chance to experiment with different tactics

Main campaign is too brief; some features in single-player are almost useless in multiplayer; single-player experience weighed down by poor AI; slightly mundane level design

Army of Two Xbox 360 Review

Surely, an army of two isn‘t really an army at all, it's just two pumped up American guys with big guns, big mouths and a load of luck on their side. They also wear stylish masks, sprout off cliché after cliché and help each other out in a manner that should be included in any good cooperative game.

Army of Two: Devil's Cartel

The imaginatively named operatives "Alpha" and "Bravo" take lead in the latest Army of Two game, a cover based shooter which focuses on co-operative play and over the top combat in equal measures.

Two-Man Take Down

Army of Two is a unique shooter that will literally get the blood flowing. The two-man control and tactics are really fun. This game probably marks the birth of a franchise assuming that the distinct gameplay doesn't get tiresome.

Army of Two

After much anticipation since the game was originally announced back in May 2006, Army of Two finally arrives for the Xbox 360 and PS3. I was given the opportunity to review the Xbox 360 version. During its development EA pledged to redefine strategic two man cooperative gameplay in a videogame.

Army of Two Review

Army of Two doesn't break any new ground, it does however expand on the co-op gameplay and impliments it in mp as well as the sp story. It's a good start from EA, perhaps they'll learn from this game for a sequel!
