Wonderful tale of triumph over adversity

I saw Moonlight twice in the cinema and since I bought the DVD a month ago, have watched some or all of it on a daily basis. I just love it - one of the most tender and moving love stories I have seen. While the ending is a little less conclusive than I expected, it is completely in keeping with where the lead character is up to in his life. It is strongly rooted in Miami and a bit difficult if you are not familiar with the colloquialisms and lingo but I read heaps on line and watched lots of interviews and reviews and it helped my understand the story line. I appreciate it so much more for having done the research and got a lot more out of subsequent viewings.
