Apple Watch Series 4 Stainless Steel (44mm, Space Grey, Cellular) - Excellent review
If one were to pull out a feature comparison of the Apple Watch Series 4 versus the Series 3, specific to sports and fitness, they’d likely just go ‘shrug’. Ultimately, the differences just aren’t there in the hardware side of things.
Watch Series 4: What price 'freedom' About as much as you'd expect from an Apple product
One non-obvious point arises from using a range of wearables and it isn't mentioned often enough. While the iPhone may not be the best phone (let's park that argument), the combination of iPhone and Watch trumps any other combination.
All in all, the Apple Watch Series 4 is a very impressive bit of kit. Not only is it able to accurately track a host of workouts - being intuitive and a pleasure to use throughout - but it is also a beautiful and super premium lifestyle device.

W hen the Apple Watch debuted four years ago , there was quite a bit of skepticism from the traditional watch industry, media, and enthusiasts alike. Personally, as many aBlogtoWatch readers know, I was enthusiastic about it from day one and continue to be so to this day.
The Apple Watch is not just a niche smartwatch anymore. In fact, Apple claims it's the most popular watch - smart or otherwise - in the world. The Series 4 is the latest generation of this product line, and it adds several features that sound great on paper.

Apple Watch Series 4 Stainless Steel (44mm, Space Grey, Cellular) - Excellent review
It isn't any one feature, ok, yeah, the display, but seriously, that sets the new Apple Watch apart. As always, it's the sum of the many moving parts, each getting better and more polished as hardware and software moves on.
Apple Watch 4 review
Apple clearly believes smartwatches are here to stay - the Watch 4 utterly proves that. The design alone is a big upgrade, with the screen offering far more visibility, and while the health benefits are only going to help a subset of users, they're welcome and show the direction Apple is heading.- Larger display
- Lightweight design
- Louder speaker
- Still on the pricey side
- Battery life needs to be more than two days
The Apple Watch Series 4 is the first over-the-counter consumer product that can be used for an electrocardiogram reading. At present this heart-monitoring feature is approved for the US market only, but it will notify you if your heart rate is too high or too low.

I have a new best friend. It’s the Apple Watch Series 4. Boy, do I love this miraculous little machine. The new Apple Watch really is wonderful. As with everything else, speed makes it so much more fluid and seamless. The display is gigantic and awesome!
