Apple Watch Series 4 40mm Aluminium Case
According to Apple, the Series 4 represents "a fundamental redesign and re-engineering of Apple Watch." As a result, watch out for a lot of very cool changes, from the curved corners to the all-new and larger display.
A MUCH bigger display
The Series 4 provides lots to talk about but it's the display that is capturing the most attention. The narrow borders deliver a viewing area that’s over 30 per cent larger! The curved corners match the radius of the case, allowing for images and the touch surface to almost extend to the very edge of the screen.
Bigger display means new interface
Because of the bigger display, the design of the interface has been remodelled with the new Infograph watch face now capable of handling eight complications, allowing you to do more and see more at a glance.
Never skip a beat
The optical heart sensor has always been a feature of the Apple Watch, but in the Series 4 it can now detect if your heart rate falls below a specified threshold for a period of 10 minutes, and activates a low-heart-rate notification as a result.
More than just a processor
The Series 4 is a complete SiP a System in Package. This means the entire system is fabricated onto a single component with some incredible capabilities crammed into that small device.
It sounds better
The Apple Watch Series 4 boasts improvements in virtually every sense, and that includes a speaker that's 50 % louder for enhanced audio quality for things like Siri and the Walkie-Talkie function. Meanwhile, the microphone is now on the other side of the watch to minimise echo when making phone calls.
A newer model Apple Watch Series 5 40mm Aluminium was released in September 2019.

Very impressive
Reasonable price and friendly staff and good timing on postage
Everything and more !
Received in 2 days to Florida. Great device. Easily paired, the ekg app was simple to setup. I get my email notifications, text notifications, I have taken and made calls from the watch, all work flawlessly I opted for applecare + as being a watch I figured it would be subject to more opportunities...
The ONE piece of tech to own!
With my 15 year old Timex failing, I started looking at watches. After recently switching to iPhone the Apple Watch was the obvious choice of smartwatch, and not much more expensive than good analog watches, but playing with them at the store was confusing, and I didn't think they would be very...
Smokes my Apple Watch 3 Cell/GPS model
Love this watch, have the black sport loop band, had the Series 3 with cell/gps, the speed at which this watch turns on, boots up, and does anything absolutely kills the series 3 watch, speakers louder, mic better, calls clearer, features better, everything works awesome, Batt last coup days for me,...
Not as good for fitness as a fitbit
In terms of fitness this watch lacks what the Fitbit charge HR 2 can provide, in order to display simple fitness data you need to purchase additional apps to work with the watch. The watch also has to be charged on a daily basis, yet a Fitbit can last 3-4 days.
Great little gadget.
Just loving my new little toy. Works well does what I need it to do.
The apple watch has proven to be more useful than I anticipated. The screen area is optimally utilized to display relevant information. The alerts save a lot of time when one is busy and needs to keep an eye out for only the truly important messages, saving the hassle of having to reach into the...
