Apple Watch Series 3
Plenty of improvements and upgrades on a proven formula – the Apple Watch 3 is the best smartwatch available.
Pros:
- Snappier performance
- Improved exercise tracking
- Super-bright and clear display
- Decent battery life (when not reliant on LTE
- watchOS 4 improvements
- Apple Pay is still super useful
Cons:
- LTE has a big impact on battery life
- Needs more dedicated watch apps to make use of LTE
- Need to wait for Apple Music streaming
- Siri doesn't always work
- No LTE roaming

The Apple Watch Series 3 is the best overall smartwatch you can buy, but battery limitations and add-on fees keep it from being a must-have upgrade. Apple with likely release an upgrade later this year.
Pros:
- Cellular connection works well for phone calls, email, Siri and messages
- Music now syncs more easily
- Improvements in fitness tracking and added watch faces
- Adds barometer to GPS and swimproofing
- Same overall size as last year’s watch.
Cons:
- Battery life takes a major hit when making calls or during GPS workouts
- 42mm cellular model is expensive, and that’s before monthly wireless service and Apple Music fees
- Still requires an iPhone to set up and pair with
- A new Watch is expected later this year.

I bought this for my better half as I've had one for about 18 months and grown to love mine. I was worried that she might have missed her precious fitbit but I had no need to worry. She loves her new Apple Watch Series 3 and has no desire to go back to not having one.

I would probably buy this product again.
I originally bought this product because my car doesn't have BlueTooth. The watch allows me to hit the green dot and take the call simply be holding the watch to my mouth. However, I do have one complaint; namely, the watch has so many features and accessing them is a matter of hit-or-miss.

Great product and delivery
Bought this as a gift for my wife. Simply to order and delivery to the highlands was quick and no extra charges. She thinks it's great and using it to track her activity. She thinks the best feature is that it is waterproof. No need to get the latest version as this one does a great job.

All told, the Apple Watch Series 3 feels like two separate devices. When it's used as a traditional smartwatch - by which I mean it's connected to, and in range of a phone - it's the best wearable Apple has ever made.
Pros:
- Improved performance
- Great battery life when connected to a phone
- Valuable new fitness features
- Siri feels more useful
Cons:
- iPhone still needs to be on to receive texts
- Lousy battery life on LTE
- Call quality can vary
- Apple Music streaming not ready yet

- Siri integration is much better
- Capable of ditching iPhone for short periods of time
Cons:
- It's more expensive than the non-LTE Apple Watch Series 3
- A monthly fee is a non-starter for some
