"The Apple watch isn't going to replace your headunit or high-end multisport watch, but it tracks all the key metrics accurately enough to observe trends in your workouts"- Easy to use
- surprising battery life
- there's an app for everything
- Optical heart rate point to point accuracy
Just buy one!
I love my Apple Watch! It's an unnecessary gadget but I love it. In addition to telling the time I use it to track my steps, my exercise/runs and calendar reminders. I use Apple Pay to buy things when I've forgotten my purse/cash, very handy to just fob onto the underground/tube.
Excellent watch, terrific battery life, and an elegant useful product.
I did not want to review the Apple watch until I had used mine for a while, so here goes. First and foremost, this is probably about as nice of an electronic watch as you could possibly get. It is very nice-looking and well thought out.
Apple Watch Series 2 review
Is the Apple Watch Series 2 the perfect smartwatch No. But it makes a much more compelling argument than the original that you should own one. We're not just talking about the addition of GPS and the waterproofing here either.- Good looking
- comfy
- waterproof
- Accurate swim tracking
- Improved usability and alerts
- Speedy
- reliable GPS
- Battery life is still not great
- So-so apps
- No sleep or elevation
- Expensive
No QVC Apple Watch Bundles
QVC, most of us do not want the bundles. They're expensive, and we receive items we don't really want or need. The only reason I haven't purchased from another vendor is because of the trust that I have in QVC taking care of customers. Please simply offer the watch and/or watch with another strap.
Apple Watch Series 2 review: This time, a better smartwatch
The Apple Watch returns in a made-for-sports upgrade that adds swim functions and GPS, but anyone who's not a runner or swimmer should consider the Apple Watch Series 1 instead. There is a watch-shaped ring around my left wrist, a permanent tan-line.- The new Apple Watch is faster
- has a far better OS
- onboard GPS
- a brighter display and is waterproof to 50 meters in salt or fresh water.
- Same battery life, mostly
- GPS activity causes a big hit on battery life for running
- Lacks always-on display
- A tad thicker and heavier
- Requires an iPhone to work.
Apple Watch Series 2 Review: A smartwatch I have no qualms recommending
Using an Apple Watch during the past 16 months was a mixed experience: one that saw Apple's first wearable launch amid high praise, confusion, and skepticism of just how much a tiny wrist-worn computer should be able to do.- Finally
- fast and reliable performance
- Screen is easier to view
- even in the sun
- Built-in GPS
- Water resistance is a nice feature for anyone to have
- Battery life is still a day
- two at most for non GPS users
Apple Watch Series 2 review: Fitness first
Apple's shift from pure fashion accessory with some smarts to a device that supports a range of different sports and activities in the Apple Watch Series 2 is a welcome advance.- Now 50m water resistant
- Built-in GPS
- Better battery
- Unlock your Mac is fun
- Two-button workout pause option
- WatchOS 3 makes for a better overall experience
- No always-on display option
- No 'Cinema Mode' can be annoying
- Some won't like square design
Apple Watch Series 2 review
They may look minor, but Apple's tweaks make the Watch a watershed wearable- Still the best smartwatch around.
- ... and now one of the sportiest, Beautifully made and very customisable with straps and faces, Longer-lasting battery
- Many rivals sport/smart watches still last longer
- Overkill if all you're after is wristy notifications
