Does everything I'd hoped for and more. Plus a years free Apple TV was a nice surprise

easy to install, good apps to download for home entertainment. Takes a while to get used to the different navigation compared to our old original Apple Tv. Remote takes a bit to get used to as well with the trackpad - but once you do it's fine. Good product - recommended

I am a big fan of Apple, their products (especially the connectivity) is so easy to use. Easy to set up and all the apps are right there on the box, if you prefer you can just mirror from the iPad or IPhone and hey presto, it's on the big screen.

The box is good, easy to use and fast. The remote is absolute garbage, it's finicky at the best of times and unusable the rest. If the remote had regular controls then this would get top marks all day. In some attempt to be innovative they have ruined the experience.

I primarily upgraded to be able to pick up the plex app while enjoying my own private photo screensaver, but it's not really worth the down side. The netflix app is a train wreck - even though I have autoplay turned off it still presents options to skip the intro and minimizes the content when it...

Have replaced now tv and Amazon boxes with this device. It's got all the main apps (Prime, Now tv, Netflix, iPlayer, btsport etc). It connects to your iTunes and photos. You can also screen mirror from iPhone, iPad, Mac. Love it. If you're Apple it is worth the price.

This unit is much better than Apple's first generation TV unit. You can actually load apps that you choose rather than the ones that Apple selected to be on their menu. My one gripe is that every 60 days or so, it makes you log back in to ITunes.

Great product and best of all all your movies are in one spot! No forgotten returns! You can rent Movies also(some 99cents) - wait to watch up to 30 days!! No scratched, finger printed, broken, missing, DVDs!

As well as supporting the subscription streaming services I want, it works well using Plex to stream home videos from my NAS. It can also be controlled using myTV remote and switches on and off automatically.

Had the mk4 Apple TV about a week now and I'm very impressed. Couldn't believe the ease and speed of install. It syncs to everything. Used it on 2 different TV and without doing anything it recognises the TV and the vol works on the apple remote to the TV and the TV remote works on the apple.
