Apple MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) review: Bigger and better, but still expensive
Christmas has come early this year for Apple's professional users. Apple has been accused of neglecting its pro audience in recent years, as it single-mindedly focused on the global domination of the iPhone.
Pros:
- New 16-inch display
- with 3072x1920 (226ppi) resolution
- Same price as 15-inch model
- Magic Keyboard replaces 'butterfly' design
- Impressive performance and battery life
- Enhanced audio system
Cons:
- Still expensive
- No user upgrades or repairs
- Weight rises to 2kg

Apple MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) review: A brilliant big-screen powerhouse
Apple has produced a monster of a machine that is capable of doing pretty much any task you could throw at it. And if you've struggled with recent MacBook models then, rest assured, the 16-inch is like an apology for all their wrongs.
Pros:
- That sumptuous big screen
- Great speakers
- Great keyboard - it's truly fixed
- Spec options are top notch
Cons:
- Screen isn't 4K resolution
- Battery life can struggle under pressure
- Huge expense when upgrading spec

Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch (2019) review
An excellent laptop and an improvement on the previous model in some key areas, but some elements may still grate on musicians.
Pros:
- • Larger
- hi-res screen and improved battery
- • Up-to 64GB memory and 1TB storage mean you can take huge projects and libraries with you
- • Quality of the speakers and mic is genuinely impressive
Cons:
- • Limited to four Thunderbolt ports
- • T2 chip and macOS Catalina have been known to cause issues with some music gear
- • Expensive

having an iphone and ipad for years now, the missing piece was a macbook. So decided to buy the latest and greatest model. the 16 inch macbook pro. Just getting started, but looking good so far

No regrets
Love everything about this MacBook....great size and the screen quality is amazing. Handles the Adobe Suite with ease and I can even side-car with my iPad to create dual screen. Love! Purchasing online at Harvey’s was super easy and delivery so fast! Great experience.
