I was a Mac guy in the 80's but was forced (at work) to go Windows. I have been pretty happy over the last 30 years with my Windows experience but when I retired I started moving back to Apple.

While this machine is fast and beautiful Apple has decided to move away from using USB ostensibly to make the MacBook Pro lighter and sleeker.

Great build quality. But I don't get the hoopla about the User Interface or User experience. Windows is far quicker and easier to use. Lack of ports is a real inconvenience. Battery life is phenomenal.

New Mac Pro great but chargers not magnified any longer. Apple gone back to the old days of chargers which had to be replaced constantly (uumm), no charging light either. No USB port you have to buy adapter ￡40.disappointed these features have been removed.

As a lover of all things Apple, the MacBook definitely lived up to the hype! This was my first ever Mac, and I'm impressed. Great Retina display, fast processor, incredible useful built in apps. However, the only thing I'm disappointed with is the Battery life, not as long as I expected.
