I was replacing my studio computer, i looked at the MacBook Pro, and the Mac studio M1 but the specs on the new Macbook air M2 and reviews online with other users steered me towards this and I am blown away at the powerhouse this is, and its an Air and is a laptop. Im running Logic Pro with a lot of CPU-heavy FabFilter plugins and waves and SSL plugins and SSL hardware and the machine barely gets above idle. The lack of fans is incredible when trying to listen to quiet audio artefacts in the mix. Ill be replacing my work/office laptop with an air m2 next time for sure, I won't need the full 24gbs ram but for the studio, it's best to over spec...view more
