The game itself I like and have always enjoyed the Anno series. However, this one drives DRM madness to a whole new level. I spent 3 hours trying to get the game to work. The 3 stars doesn't reflect gameplay, only the technical side of things. The game itself deserves 4 stars.

The Anno series has become a self-propelled juggernaut in the strategy world, with very few critics and fans having bad words to say about it. From the early "Anno 1602" to this new, contemporary offering we have seen the series grow in content, innovation and reputation.

Superb: A hallmark of excellence. There may be flaws, but they are negligible and won't cause massive damage to what is a supreme title.
