I use Alexa Echo Spot multiple times a day, every day. This one was such a great deal!!! The Spot if very helpful for timers, reminders, and can even broadcast to another device in the home, as an intercom system. She can be used to count days, fetch recipes and so much more.

Now Apple Friendly!
Love the Echo, very easy to use, in the beginning you receive daily emails from Amazon with suggestions and tips. Alexa understands all my commands and responds very politely every time. Finding more uses for it every day. The best news is from today, Apple Music is compatible with the Alexa family.

The wife likes it
I got this for the wife for her birthday. She wanted one to replace our apparently outdated Echo Dot that wasn't acting right any more. Allegedly, the Dot wasn't supported any longer and started having trouble processing certain requests, so I purchased the Spot since she likes her other one so...

Amazon Echo Spot review: This Alexa speaker is as sharp as it is smart
The Echo Spot just might be the perfect smart speaker, with a versatility and fashion-sense that give it a sense of purpose and style.
Pros:
- Excellent design that looks great in any room
- 2.5-inch circular screen is bright
- crisp
- and doubles as a clock
- Camera can be completely disabled
Cons:
- Hefty cord somewhat limits where it can be placed
- Videos are truncated in full-screen mode

The Spot hits a number of key areas: it's the best designed of the Echo range, giving it immediate appeal. Whether in the bedroom, on a kitchen worktop or side table in the living room, the Spot fulfils its role as master of all.
Pros:
- 'Alexa Calling' video calls
- Cute design
- Sounds pretty good considering the size
- The smartest radio alarm clock you'll ever find
Cons:
- 'Drop In' could cause privacy concerns
- Price feels a little high compared to Echo Dot
- Small screen for video playback

Amazon Echo Spot
"Always two there are; no more, no less. A master and an apprentice." Yoda was referring to Sith lords, but he could easily have been talking about Amazon's general product strategy. The company has a habit of releasing a big product and following it up with a smaller, more affordable alternative.
Pros:
- Useful screen
- Video calling works well
- Compact dimensions
- More intuitive than audio-only Echo devices
Cons:
- Sound could be better

Pros:
- Good looking bit of kit, alarm, clock etc
- all works really well
Cons:
- Having problems in linking with other existing Alexa products for sharing music or using as intercom
- store staff knowledge of product surprisingly weak
- told amazon employee would be in store
- on certain days despite returning on 2 of these days they were not there
