Does everything it's big Sister Echo Show 10 does and then some. Besides the usual functions of lights, doorbell, music etc., it has a great clock function. I bought it mainly for the clock function to replace my ancient digital/mechanical clock and an more than pleased.

This is an amazing product, I use it every day from cooking to watching movies! It's handy and easily customisable when it comes to the home screen and clock interface, if you're looking for a device that can do so much more than the standard echo dot then this is the one you want to get!

Amazon Echo Show 5 Review – If you have smart speakers like a Sonos One , Amazon Echo Dot , or even dumb ones connected by an Amazon Echo Input , then you have probably enjoyed having Alexa voice assistant around.

Have been a fan of Amazon Echo since their launch but having recently also purchased a Ring front-door system, thought I'd try the Echo Show 5 as it integrates not only sound but video too. I'm very impressed with the video and sound quality - it's a fantastic item.

Love my Amazon echoshow! Using it mainly as a smart alarm clock and music player. Loves it when it adaptively lowers down the screen when I turn off the light in my room. Nice camera cover for privacy. Have not really connected it with the Alexa app so have not used it's real potential I guess.

This is my second echo show 5, it was bought to replace a spot which became faulty. Easy to set up, just plug in and follow on screen instructions. Neat and small, far better than spot it replaced. Have Alexa in every room, gradually automating all the house. Would recommend.

Will be returning if I can organise it as I'm not near a Myer or a post office. Disappointing that every time you ask for a recipe it asks you to buy a subscription, play music-buy a subscription, can't answer any questions or really load anything.

I have so far had 1 echo and 2 echo dot. This is a new addition to the echo family. I liked the visual display on show. More convenient . You can also skype on echo show which is added advantage and the option of closing the camera when not in use is a good plus.
