Overslept
Five years (plus) in the making, Remedy Entertainment's Alan Wake is finally upon us. Having gone through several changes and an unusually long development period, one of the biggest question marks in recent video game history has finally materialized.
Pros:
- The external environments are beautiful
Cons:
- The player sees far too much of them

Alan Wake - Review
A lot can change in five years. In May 2005, Survival Horror games were reeling from Resident Evil 4 completely rewriting the rules of the genre, the Xbox 360 was still six months away from launch, and we were just starting to hear the first whispers about the upcoming HD console's most promising...
Pros:
- Probably the most atmospheric videogame we've ever played
- Cracking thriller story with well-written characters
- Interesting use of light and dark in combat
Cons:
- Gets a little repetitive towards the end
- No multiplayer or Horde-style mode to add longevity
- Who left all those thermos flasks lying around

Alan Wake Review
It's hard to describe Alan Wake without giving the story away too much, let's just say it's a gripping action/horror game that has spawned two DLC packs since its 2010 release. With prices dropping to as low as £8.99 it's certainly worth investigating.

Alan wake is a very enjoyable game, I hadn't played it but saw that it had good reviews so recently got it on XBL, the game was not that long but it kept my interest, the plot and take on the storyline is a very interesting mixture.

This game is a breath of fresh air.A strong third person shooter mechanic with a twist, you have to dig away at the protective dark shell of an enemy with your flashlight before being able to kill it outright which in my mind adds to the game as in the challenge is there.

Alan Wake 360 Review
Alan Wake is a survival horror adventure on the Xbox 360. You control Wake, an ill-fated writer, as he journeys into the collapsing nether-world of his imagination. If this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, hold judgement a moment as I felt just the same before playing...

Alan Wake review (X360)
Alan Wake is a tale of macabre horror, subtle product placement and trees. It's a tale that fittingly starts with a Stephen King quote about how horror -- true horror -- is unexplainable before then pulling out King's favourite self-projected protagonist: the horror author being turned slowly mad...

Borderlands: Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot
If Borderlands was a breath of fresh air and its first piece of add-on action, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned , was too much more of the same, then Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot should be a hoot, right Due to it being quite different from the main game and all. No! A thousand times no, sir!
