Alan Wake Review
After five years, can it be said that Alan Wake was worth the wait? Yes, it can, but Alan Wake is far from a perfect game. It does a fantastic job of bridging the gap between games and film, with a story that is executed so perfectly, with plenty of twists and turns and edge-of-your-seat moments.

Explaining What the Hell Alan Wake Is
There's a moment in Alan Wake , where the titular protagonist reads a passage that goes, "The new one will be a masterpiece, I know it! You must tell him not to listen to the trolls in the forums saying 'Departure' will never get finished. He should take his time and make it perfect. I can wait.
Pros:
- great stories and hybrid shooters
Cons:
- the dark

Alan Wake
The excellent combat builds on the fantastic storytelling, ensuring there is never a dull moment during this roughly 12-hour adventure. Alan Wake has a handy way of dealing with dark-fueled creatures: shine a flashlight on them.
Pros:
- Fresh storytelling fleshes out the supernatural events in interesting ways
- Satisfying combat mechanic makes disposing of evil creatures a blast
- Subtle lighting effects and a moody soundtrack create a disturbing atmosphere
- Optional collectibles are well worth risking your life to grab
Cons:
- Lacks surprising
- memorable gameplay moments

Alan Wake
Five years in the making is a very long time for any game and is rarely a good omen. Within half an hour it's obvious where the five years went. The world of Alan Wake, the town of Bright Falls is incredibly detailed. It's hard to convey just how much has gone in to it.

Alan Wake Review
I was excited to give Alan Wake a go. Make no mistake, it's not the sort of game I usually pick up. I like simple and fun games like Mario Kart – I tend to avoid games where people are shooting at me, because it makes me feel slightly oppressed.

Alan Wake
Alan Wake has been one of the most ancipated Xbox 360 titles since it was first announced at E3 way back in 2005. It's now here, delivering an intriguing plot, dramac visuals and an immersive atmosphere, yielding more to the cerebral than skiet, skop en donner.
Pros:
- Gripping storyline and presentation
- Excellent environments
Cons:
- Lip-syncing sometimes on the same level as dubbed kung-fu movies from the past

Review: Alan Wake (360)
Alan Wake has been in pre-production and production since 2001 and was announced officially at E3 2005. Seeing as how it is now summer of 2010, that is a long frickin' time for a game to be worked on… like approaching on a Duke Nukem Forever time frame.
Pros:
- Creepy atmosphere
- very well put together in all respects
Cons:
- Kinda short, a bit confusing
- how long will we have to wait for a proper sequel

Alan Wake (Xbox 360)
This adventure game is fantastic to play, this game is like a Stephen King movie. The story in this game is great and long, so if you like me and collect everything it will be quite a long time before you finish it to 100%.
