So I read all the reviews, had a SSD available to install and decided this would be a good second laptop, mainly for presentations with PPT. When the laptop I was pretty happy with it and immediately installed the SSD with ease.

Acer's little netbook has been made for use in educational institutions. The robust casing proves this. The installed processor has enough computing power for basic office and Internet applications. The laptop always runs quietly and does not get excessively hot.
matte screen; solid casing; fast SSD; maintenance hatch; very good battery life; three-year warranty
dark; viewing-angle dependent screen; screen dims in battery mode
Out of 35gb it comes with 30gb odd is taken up for windows 10 leaving very little for use..on top windows keep prompting for upgrade but no space..it's quite difficult using this laptop for my aged parents with these limitations..
Sweet as nutmeg. Probably the best computer I ever owned since my first PC in 1982. Missing just one thing - more memory. To really get moving, need to upgrade to 8Mb RAM.
I'm still not sure if it's a hardware or software problem, but I'm leaning on hardware since I can't boot a USB stick either.
Nice hardware - feels sturdy; has HDMI; two USB and an sdcard reader
Won't boot; Just goes to a black screen; Tried to boot an Ubuntu live USB to see if it was hardware or software, but any attempt to boot from USB just results in a reboot back to the Linpus bootloader, which then continues on to a black screen
