Got this as a gift. Freesync makes a noticeable difference. This is a perfect monitor for mid-range gaming computers. A wide berth for the freesync just in case the frame rate dips and it's 1080p so it's decent quality. This isn't my first acer monitor.

This is an excellent monitor for the cost. The picture is clear and vivid and the inputs are very helpful for a power PC workstation. I am using it as my keystone monitor of 3 in total. It is awesome! (Top monitor in picture)

I bought this for high end pc gaming, I can confirm it definitely is a 144hz screen. You need to use a DP cable as HDMI doesn't support 144. I have seen other reviews saying it doesn't support 144hz so I thought I would clarify that it actually does.
