Very satisfied with this laptop. Does all we want it do and more. Very prompt dispatch and delivery also.
So far I am finding this product great. Easy to use, and setup was a breeze, it basically guided you every step of the way. Will update review further down after sufficient use.
I bought 3 of these for my teenage kids on special at $966. Although it's not a gaming laptop it does handle FPS games like Portal 2, Minecraft, TF2, and LightMatter without issue. I would have liked a USB-C port and backlit keyboard but these features would have cost another $200-300 at the time. With a 10th-gen CPU, decent on-board UHD graphics, a decent-sized SSD and being fairly lightweight, I reckon this is a great school/casual-gaming laptop.
On paper at least, the 8th-generation Acer Aspire 3 laptop seems to offer quite a bit for its rather slender asking price. You get a well-sized 15.6-inch Windows 10 machine, packing a Full HD display and Intel Core i3 chipset. Not bad specs for a budget notebook.
Attractive and solid design, Decent connectivity, Comfortable, comprehensive typing experience
Limited performance, Very basic display
Acer's Aspire 3 is a good entry-level device that can manage more than just simple processes in everyday use and knows how to handle multi-tasking. It can even be used for some simple image processing, but apart from that you must not expect too much from the notebook.
affordable price; nice size; sufficient performance for simple applications; low system noise; many upgrade possibilities
short battery runtime on Wi-Fi; only one USB-3.0 port; display is easily warped; low brightness
