When it comes to headphones, the general consensus is that you very much get what you pay for. Opt for the cheap earbuds packed in with your phone and your music is going to sound tinny, flat, and lacking in any kind of musical excitement.

The K92 brings newcomers to the world of AKG headphones plenty for a very reasonable price tag. What's more, there's a good finish and signs of quality workmanship on show here, with a design that ticks plenty of boxes. The lower price hasn't meant compromises in the usual areas.
Gift for college age daughter; likes the earphones, things the over-the-ear pads are large for her, but the adjustable over-the-head top band allows for a comfortable fit. Loves the sound clarity/fidelity. A good value for phones in the <$100 price space.

If you’re about to drop £50 on a pair of headphones, you’re going to be listening to most of your music at home, and just want a great-sounding, sturdy and comfortable pair of cans to hook up to your laptop or hi-fi, then the K92s fit the bill perfectly. The colour finish might not be to everybody’s taste, but once these wonderful headphones are clamped around your dome the last thing you’ll be thinking of is gold. Excellent Reproduction.... Nice bass
Sennheiser, Shure, Audio-Technica, I've used at least 1 or 2 models from all of them. While I like them a lot, I've never worn any headphones as comfortable as AKG's. That's why I chose these for my artists to use during tracking (recording).
They are pretty good looking! And they sound amazing for the price, comfortable covers my big ears
Comfortable for long listening, both as physical fit over ears and as sound. As sound, some previous reviewers from elsewhere said the sound produced by the AKG 92 is boxy. To say about a sound is boxy it is not very clear what you mean, but according with my direct experience the AKG92 does not...
Just bought the headphones recently. They are wonderful. The sound coming from my mp3 player and laptop is crystal clear. I will be buying another set for my wife as she loves them too. For the price I paid I am very pleased. Great headphones guys!
