AKG K92
The K92 brings newcomers to the world of AKG headphones plenty for a very reasonable price tag. What's more, there's a good finish and signs of quality workmanship on show here, with a design that ticks plenty of boxes. The lower price hasn't meant compromises in the usual areas.

AKG K92 review
When it comes to headphones, the general consensus is that you very much get what you pay for. Opt for the cheap earbuds packed in with your phone and your music is going to sound tinny, flat, and lacking in any kind of musical excitement.

Nice headset.
Gift for college age daughter; likes the earphones, things the over-the-ear pads are large for her, but the adjustable over-the-head top band allows for a comfortable fit. Loves the sound clarity/fidelity. A good value for phones in the <$100 price space.
Pros:
- Sound quality
- noise isolation
- adjustable headband
- and comfort (headband sizing and ear cup material
Cons:
- large ear cups

Worth the money for sure.
These are definitely worth the asking price of £40. They have a really good looking design, very light weight and have excellent sound. They sound flat and do equalize pretty well. They are not lacking bass at all, just not bass heavy but with a little EQ they produce good bass.

Fantastic value.
I have had these 'phones about 2 weeks and have to say that for the money they are really great value. They are comfortable, and they have a long lead which is more useful than you might think although for 'out and about' purposes you may need a cable tie to avoid entanglement.

Lots to Like
Sennheiser, Shure, Audio-Technica, I've used at least 1 or 2 models from all of them. While I like them a lot, I've never worn any headphones as comfortable as AKG's. That's why I chose these for my artists to use during tracking (recording).

AKG K92 headphones review
If you’re about to drop £50 on a pair of headphones, you’re going to be listening to most of your music at home, and just want a great-sounding, sturdy and comfortable pair of cans to hook up to your laptop or hi-fi, then the K92s fit the bill perfectly. The colour finish might not be to everybody’s taste, but once these wonderful headphones are clamped around your dome the last thing you’ll be thinking of is gold. Unless, y’know, you’re listening to some Spandau Ballet. Tested for Stuff by the team at What Hi-Fi? Buy the AKG K92 headphones here from Amazon
Pros:
- Stellar sound that's smooth and detailed
- Built to last, but comfy too
- Brilliant value
Cons:
- At this price? Nothing
