I love these cans for listening to music on my Samsung Note 9 phone. Excellent audio representation.

I purchased a set of these headphones about a month ago. As a presenter in a community radio station, headphones are of great importance to me. Over the many years I have worked in radio I have tried numerous brands of phones and have not been able to get a set which combines the comfort and sound quality I have been seeking until I purchased the AKG 52s. Lo and behold after many years of fruitless searching my patience has finally been rewarded These are a superb set of headphones easily the best I have used in the last 16 years. From now on it's AKG for me.
I bought these about 4 months ago and I am very happy with my purchase! I wear them mainly with my laptop and the sound quality and comfort of the headphones are fantastic quality for the price. I also wear glasses and they fit comfortably with them. The cord is pretty long though but I just tie a loop to keep it shorter.
I bought this a month ago and have been very satisfied with it. It is easy to handle, comfortable to wear & has the clear crisp sound with full bass that I was looking for. A rich sound without sacrificing any aspect at great price
These cans are excellent value for the sound quality, comfortable to wear and seem well enough made for the price. The cable terminates in a 3.5mm TRS jack but comes with a fitted 1/4" plug adaptor. One issue I've found is that because of the wide/flat shape at the base of the plug it may not make good contact with some devices. I've had trouble getting a reliable connection with my Sony phone (and impossible when it's in a gel case), also with my Dell laptop headphone socket and some small electronic instruments. Consider this a 1/4" headphone system with an emergency 3.5mm capability.
Sound quality is excellent. Good clarity and detail. Closed back design provides decent isolation suitable for tracking and some mixing. They compare well to studio headphones costing many times the price. Very little to fault.
Although a part of the Harman group of companies that also owns brands such as JBL and Harman Kardon, AKG has a legacy that dates all the way back to 1947. Established in Austria as a professional audio equipment manufacturer, the company is still based in Vienna and now specialises in headphones...
Good design and fit; Long cable; Balanced and tonally good sound; Capable through the frequency range; Very reasonable pricing
Nothing significant at this price
I bought these AKG K52 on the back of the What Hi-Fi 5* review. I had been looking for a pair for a couple of months without to much success. What a pair of headphones. I don't like to spend a great deal on headphones as I only use them for the iPad or occasionally my computer. The fit was perfect.
