I installed this ssd with the help of an IcyDock 2.5" to 3.5" drive-bay adapter. Installation was super easy and everything went smoothly. The SSD worked perfectly with the dock and the iMac had no problem recognizing it. I used Disk Utility to format and proceeded with OS install.

Excellent SSD, improves performance of pc, reduces hard drive noise to zero! I have now bought and fitted these to two pcs and a laptop so recommend them.
