I bought the UHS-II card for my Sony A7RM2 camera. The 42 Mp images are big and I was looking for a fast SD card. The camera is not designed for UHS-II cards (they have extra pins that are involved in very fast transfers. ). It goes fine but looking at the data transfer light, the transfers do not seem to be any faster than the 90X card I had in there and reads on the PC seem a bit odd at times. Nothing wrong with the card I'm sure but I'd do my homework before I bought one at the premium price to see if you will be able to use that type of card to get its max data transfer speeds.

I tried a year or so back on a Sony a7Rm2. It was no better than the card I was using. Reading files with my reliable Transcend card reader also gave the occasional odd result. Then I recently bought a Sony a7Rm4 camera designed for the UHS-II card and it all suddenly became obvious. The cards work as advertised but only on gear designed for them. I have also bought a UHS-II card reader, fast reads with no weird results.
