Carl Zeiss Victory 8x32 T* FL

The Victory T* is the top-end range of Carl Zeiss binoculars. It consists of two compact models (8x20 and 10x25) but also including bigger instruments with the following parameters: 8x32, 10x32, 8x42, 10x42, 8x56 and 10x56.

very solid barrel; high transmission; chromatic aberration corrected splendidly; very low astigmatism; slight coma; low brightness loss on the edge of the field; nice exit pupils on black background; perfect blackening inside the tubes; splendid T* antireflection coatings; high quality of prisms

slightly egg-shaped pupils

Five stars with a tweak from Zeiss

I have been using Zeiss 10x42 Victory bins for several years and Swarovski 10x42 SLC prior to that. I wanted a lower power, wider field of view, lighter weight binocular for pelagic birding and butterflying and I didn't want to pay $2K or more.

Zeiss Conquest HD 8x32 Binocular

Highly recommended I pushed my optics budget to purchase the Zeiss Conquest HD 8x32 Binocular and I'm very glad I did! I had read many reviews by experts and by experienced birders before ordering. These binoculars live up to the praise.

I finally found the perfect binoculars.

I have been looking for a quality light weight easy focus without glasses binoculars and these were perfect for me. The fact that they are water proof, compact and well constructed is a plus. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Superb in all respects

Outstanding optical performance and design. 10X magnification with depth and width of field comparable to Good 8X binoculars. Very fast focusing. This allows for very intuitive "Point & Shoot" characteristics (like 8X glasses) but with 10X detail.

For the price, you can get a cheap Zeiss. But for quality, the Nikon Monarch is better. The lens is clear and crisp, wide enough yet not widest, not the brightest one I've ever tried, maybe because it lacks T* coating. Build quality is good, in some point better than Germany HD.

One word ' stunning '

This binocular is ideal for bird watching the definition is stunning. With a great field of view it comes into its own in woods where it can be dark the light transmission is very good it is now my choice of binocular plus as a bonus you can slip them into a pocket so they will be taken on my next...

Durable; Great Features; Lightweight

Great binoculars at a good price

Very difficult to find these high end binoculars at a discounted price, but I got 10% off at Optics Planet ($100 savings) I also purchased a carrying strap that I returned and so far getting a store credit has been easy. I fully expect these binoculars to be the last I'll ever have to buy.
