Yamaha is a well-known company throughout the entire world. It has been around since the 1800s, making audio-related instruments and equipment. It began with reed organs in Japan and has expanded to become a worldwide corporation that owns many subsidiaries and affiliates presently.

The Yamaha NS-777 has four drivers to accurately cover a wide frequency range

These floor standing speakers have three-way binding posts rather than five-way

Initially I had considered purchasing my speakers from Amazon but shipping them to Dubai looked like a stupid idea considering s

This review will likely help those who are new to Home Theater setup and don't know where to start. My setup consists of a Sharp 60" LEDTV, Samsung BD-F5100 Blu Ray player, Yamaha RX-V577 receiver, pair of NS-777s and NS-333 and a NS-444. The sub is a YST-SW216.

Excellent

Love these Floor Speakers. Upgraded from a smaller set and right away you can notice the difference in sound quality. Works wonders with the Yamaha NS-C333 and NS-444 speakers.

The Yamaha NS-777 : Yamaha Stuns The Addict!

A Little History These speakers were used for the front channel sound in a new 7.1 set-up.

Refined sound with warm characteristics; Great imaging; Attractive styling.

These can get shockingly bright at times.

YAMAHA NS-777 Speakers

Overall the product is great. I utilized the bi-wiring connection to my Yamaha RX-V1000 receiver and the range of sound reproduction is just super. The cabinet style and black piano finish is elegant and the price is very much affordable. Except for its size which is a little large.

Sound reproduction; style and price

Size; takes a little more space

Receiver used:Yamaha HTR-5590 Cables:THX Certified Monster As I have stated in my previous reviews I am an audio salesperson who gets to test and play with the toys we sell using many different combinations so that I can give accurate long term auditions.

Great range; good value; awesome appearance; biwireable

upfront; restrained bass(could be good or bad depending on your preferences

Excellent Speakers have stood the test of time

Bought a pair of these when I got married 7 years ago, not shocked to see 'em still available. Excellent sound reproduction: deep bass, crystal highs, they easily handle everything my receiver has to offer, the amp clipping long before the speakers reach their limit.

Best for the buck.

These are full range in a beautiful finish for $. They are rated at 6 ohms.I have these bi wired to a Yamaha S801 amp using pure direct and set for low impedance and they play vinyl perfectly.Might add a matching subwoofer.

GREAT SOUND!!!

I called Newegg to tell them what was up. The awesome CS rep read the tracking report and offered a full refund for all 4 (!!) speakers or to ship new ones. I couldn't lie...I told her I had two of them, somehow they shipped separately, and to please ship just 2 new ones.

These babies are great! Generally speaking, I can hear all the minor differences in all audible circumstances like MP3 compression, bass cutoffs etc; I mean, I hear phones ringing before they ring!

I ordered 4 of these when on sale for ~199; I got two within 5 buisiness days; UPS tracking showed that the other two (shipped separately) were damaged in transit and being sent back() A later same-day tracking post said "I" 'turned down the shipment' (!!!) UPS isn't the most trustworthy company.
