It should be illegal in the US or anywhere for these Drives to be sold as New when they are clearly pulls from OEM machines and thus Western Digital will NOT warranty them. They are selling these at a new price with third party sellers making up the bulk of sales promoting them as having a warranty...

Always liked these drives. Bought this one as a storage drive for my fathers laptop so he could installs a msata ssd in the laptop as well. Not much to say for these drives they are reliable and work every time.

I bought this HDD to replace a dead HDD. It works just perfect. Western digital is a reliable company and had less problem with them than Seagate.

I bought this for my TV box, so I can record TV shows while I am out and it is flawless. I have not had a single error, or problem with it. I already have one of these WD Blues in my laptop and it never let me down once. With the brand Western Digital, you know it's a name you can trust.

My first replacement of a laptop internal hdd!

I benchmarked this drive, using Crystal Disc Mark, at 88 MB/sec Sequential Read speed and 90 MB/sec Sequential Write speed with up to 4 GB file size in the mid sector of the drive. Very respectable speed for a budget drive.

I bought this hard drive because it was the largest of the budget hard drives; When I purchased it, speed was a secondary concern; Storage was my primary concern; When I pulled the old hard drive out of my laptop I discovered that it was also a Western Digital Blue hard drive from the Scropio line.

Not the fastest hard drive available in its price range; 8 MB, very low cache for a hard drive; Only 5400 RPM

Brilliant. Got this for to replace my daughters MacBook Pro HD when it failed..... A reminder that you need a special bit for the small screws. I did know this but had forgotten. Would be good if PB adds this to its descriptions

This hard disk is working properly. I am satisfied with its performance. So far, there is no bad cluster. Everything I copied to it has been done properly. So, I think I get what I want.
