I purchased this 2TB for use with my Mac Book Air when traveling. I like to back up images I've taken daily, its cheap insurance. Secondly, my Mac Book Air has a limited hard drive and this allows me to store thousands of images from previous trips. Its compact size and weight are ideal.

I purchased this compact external drive to serve as backup for a year-old Apple computer. Setup was easy and the drive icon popped up on the screen just as expected. Western Digital has been making drives for a long time, and I have confidence in their brand. So far, so good!

I bought this item hoping it would work as well as my other Drive. It did not. After 2 months of use I had to start manipulating how I placed the cord ( any cord I used) in order for the drive to turn on. About a month or so of doing that, the drive stopped connecting to any computer and any cord.

After my old external hard drive died, I was pleasantly surprised when this small solid state arrived. So far so good, easy to set up and connected straight away with Time Machine. Let's see how many years this one lasts.

Instructions are non-existent but not too hard to work out. It is sort of plug and play and can be used by beginners. I was limited to where I could buy it from but I got it on offer at a reduced price - the full price for this is overpriced, there are cheaper versions out there.

Haven't used product for long but plugged right into my MacBook, but time will try the quality
