I've started late on driving games what with the pressures of real life, but have got into them over the last year. Hence, I'm no expert, but I know a rotten game when I play one. After clocking Dirt, I went into town to look for Dirt 2 (I like playing games in sequence), but they didn't have it so...

Also could not wait for it to arrive and what a disappointment. Compared to all the other WRC, this is pants. Cars handling is truely unresponsive, reminds me of 1980's arcade game where you steer just left and right.

Very disappointed with this title. Having recently purchased Formula 1 2010 I was amazed at the graphics and gameplay of this game so was expecting something of similar quality but in a rally format.

Overall, WRC: FIA World Rally Championship is a mediocre racing title. There's nothing in the game that hasn't been seen or done before within the genre, this is offset by the handling and official WRC support, making this more of a must purchase for the fully committed car rally fan.

Though by no means a very bad or broken game, WRC: FIA World Rally Championship just isn't particularly remarkable and is short on replay value.

Black Bean are back again with another entry into the WRC series, after  the previous outing was a little disappointing and didn't provide the authentic rally experience that the official licence would suggest.

Driving a rally stage is one of the most knuckle blanching experiences one can have, and despite not going bumper to bumper against racing opposition, the pressure of being precise, clean and fast is enough to quicken the heart rate of any racing fan.

There are not many pure rallying games these days; in fact until Milestone developed last year's WRC game, there hadn't been such a game for five years, with the last being WRC: Rally Evolved on the PS2 back in 2005.

The racing itself is decent, if not quite as exciting as you'd hope it would be, and while it ticks all the basic WRC licence boxes, the overall production still feels a little threadbare.

Racing fans of a non-F1 persuasion are gearing up for the eagerly anticipated Forza Motorsport 4 , a game that's poised on the starting grid and ready to outmanoeuvre its predecessor with immaculately polished Ferraris and Bugattis.
